Becoming the Next Pop-Stars:

-Features: Warren Gene, Serena Shum, Yangy "Peter Parker" Kelly, Andy Chiang (producer) and many other cameos.

Synopsis: Everyday students at a local high school get a chance to show off everything they have in musical talents. After agreeing to stipulations, the battle for the right to represent Forever Records Inc. and the right to call themselves the next big thing has begun. The contestants are entered into grueling challenges that will eventually wear them down and only one will reign supreme! Who will be the NEXT POP-STAR?

PRIZE: A contract with Forever Records Inc. and a chance to create a debut album!

Points are awarded by preformances and activities preformed by each competitor. Warren Gene: Preformed All or Nothing, I Want It That Way, Spanish Eyes and various Craig David tracks.

Yangy Kelly: Preformed I Want It That Way, Hero and All or Nothing.

Serena Shum: Preformed various tracks from Aaliyah.

Andy Chiang: Has preformed songs from Spanish Eyes to Jay's Tornado.

Others: Have preformed various songs such as The Final Countdown by Europe and Eye of the Tiger by Survivor.

May 17th, 2002: Debut of the show, featured introducing the contestants and Warren Gene singing All or Nothing along side Andy Chiang. Andy Chiang beats Warren Gene in prelims by judge's decision.

May 24th, 2002: Yangy Kelly threatens Warren Gene's lead by doing a rendition of I Want It That Way. Soundtrack for Becoming the Next Pop-Star becomes available. Warren Gene wins "Name that Tune."

May 31st, 2002: Warren Gene increases lead to 5 points after performing Craig David songs and Warren Gene beats Andy Chiang in "Name the Lyric."

June 7th, 2002: Yangy Kelly sings his rendition of All or Nothing. Yangy Kelly also sings Hero by Enrique Iglesias. Warren Gene's lead falls to a mere 2 points.

June 13th, 2002: Special edition pop-star show features a dramatic breakdown of Warren Gene. Midway through his live performance, he threatens to call it quits and packs up. Warren Gene vacates his lead on the Pop-Star show and departs.

June 14th, 2002: Warren Gene visits old cast members and wishes them the best of luck. Andy Chiang assumes lead in the leader board. James Mulholland cameo appearance sings The Final Countdown by Europe and Eye of the Tiger.

June 17th, 2002: Special edition: The end of the one month show. Warren Gene returns to the line up after last minute courage. Warren Gene has a small lead of Andy Chiang and Yangy Kelly who shot up the leader board. Warren Gene preforms final song, All or Nothing, gets a standing ovation from the live audience. After hours of trepitation, Warren Gene is announced 2002 Next Pop-Star.

June 18th, 2002: Warren Gene signs on with Forever Records Inc.
