THE GAME
|
The Game
debuted: November 7th, 2001... cancelled: December 21st, 2001
After a fairly unsuccessful inaugural season, the show 'The Game' was cancelled. Most blame the fall on unsuccessfully expanding the franchise. The Game was a show where two contestants face off against each other in a game known as 'Two.' As soon as a player lost, he would be hit across the back of his hand. The show's ulimate downfall was the lackluster of sales in the Pay-Per-View department. The most memorable match was the Iron Man Match between challenger Albert Teh and champion Andy Chiang, when Andy Chiang submitted after 20 mins of battle. The championship title was eventually retired later in 2001.
Notables on the Show: Albert Teh (final world champion), Andy Chiang (former world champion), Jacky Wang (contestant) and Jerry Chen (contestant).
Time Slot: N/A
